Phoenix - At the last minute the Obama Administration filed a brief in the Ninth Circuit Court, saying that Arizona does not have the right to ask for information from applicants in order to vote, whether or not they are citizens.  What??

You have got to be kidding! This has to be the best lawsuit that has ever hit Washington, D.C. An illegal immigrant suing the U.S. Federal Government?

Pima County, AZ. -- Yes, straight out of the old wild west where wild mustangs are rounded up, tamed by prisoners in Colorado; then assist the US Border Patrol.

So many guns in that home, and the mother thought they were all "toy" guns. She didn't even check them out to determine if they were real! It turns out that the grandfather is an illegal alien.

Another example of how our government agents have to consult with Mexico first before confirmation can be made. It was discovered on the US side of the Border, by our Border agents.

The guest list contained the 'who's who' that would support Obama's ideas on immigration reform, and those with opposing views were denied attendance.

The US Federal Government owes the State of Arizona millions of dollars for the processing, healthcare, schooling, etc. of all immigrants that are found to be violating the law once in Arizona. They have refused to do their job to reimburse this state for many, many years.

Defining happiness these days isn't easy. It doesn't seem to follow what we have always thought would make us happy. Alot of us were just happy go lucky people, not a care in the world. We were carefree and unconcerned about what was going on around us.

What is it that we are searching for these days of discontentment? Money, great job, credit cards, big house with big mortgage, new vehicles parked in that 3 or 4 car garage, all the best clothes that credit cards can buy, kids going to the best schools and colleges, great cruises and vacations, yachts, etc.? It seems to me that we sure supported the economy then, now; what does all of this mean to you? If you had to pick just one, what would you choose? They say that money can't buy happiness, but I see one that could give some hope for your future.

Maybe we should expend more of our time and energy on what we can do to achieve happiness, instead of what we can't do. We sometimes are our own worst enemy. I know that I can open mouth, insert foot more oft than not. There is so much negativism in this country, that people are starting to feel guilt if they show any happiness. Everyone should decide for themselves what happiness means for them, and work toward achieving it.

Whatever will make you happy, go for it. If it is money, decide how to achieve that goal; or whatever it might be. Smile a little, laugh a little, it is all healthier than not. With the techno gadgets and vast internet at our disposal, your ideas can be reached by millions of people.

I myself get caught up in what I call the bad news bears. I find myself stressing, getting upset, depressed and angry. I will take a step back from it, and find that it is time for some articles far removed from the current events. I have taken to the art of food and all its' flavors, to writing some thought provoking articles; such as this one.

What would make you happy?

The Feds are still at it I see, just can't stay away from the desert's heat. Well, I guess our air is cleaner than that of Washington, D.C's.

The Justice Department sure would like to know what the common denominator is for Arizona's wish to stay in the "heat" of battles!

How is this heated subject going to be resolved?

It isn't difficult for an illegal immigrant to land a job here if he has high quality fake documents. Many U.S. citizens discover that someone has used their Social Security number when they check their credit, or their Social Security earnings.

We had a booming economy, people had jobs, people bought their dream homes and took their dream vacations, we had more growth in jobs than there were people to fill them, so the illegals helped in filling that need.

Now, it is all gone, the jobs, people have lost their homes and vehicles, people have lost everything including health insurance. The illegals mostly remain taking the jobs that are available,or are able to keep the one that they have. Thus, making it a very volatile situation for the residents that have no job, no home, etc.

This same scenario is being played out across the nation.

Something that has been talked about on here in Newsvine and in every major News media in the Country, is should children born to people that have Illegally invaded American receive Citizenship under the 14^th Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Many of the supporters of Illegal immigration have said over and over that it is not right to change this Amendment, it would violate the Constitution and their rights. I believe that many of the people saying this are simply not familiar with the Constitution and how America works. Should the 14^th Amendment not be changed ?, should it remain as originally written ? Before you jump up and Vote Yes, you may want to read it and check with your WIFE. As the 14^th Amendment to the Constitution clearly denies Women the right to Vote, it also did not grant the right to Vote to anyone under the age of 21 years old. Still want to let stand as it was written ?

The truth is America has changed Amendments to the Constitution many times before and has done so with the 14^th Amendment also. It was first changed with the ratification of the 19^th Amendment on Aug. 18, 1920 by writing that the right to Vote can not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

The 14^th Amendment was again changed with the ratification of the 26^th Amendment on July 1,1970 by granting the right to Vote to citizens of the United States who are 18 years of age or older.

So it would seem that we have changed this Amendment quite a bit since when it was originally written and Adopted on July 9,1868, to overruled the the Supreme Court decision of “Dred vs Sandford" from 1857 that held that Black Slaves could not be citizens of the United States. It would clearly seem that this Amendment was meant to grant Citizenship to former Black Slaves only, that have been Freed from Slavery but still did not have the rights granted to American Citizens.

This Amendment now has been abused by people that come into United States through Illegal means and then give birth not only to one child, but continue to have children over and over. And there by abusing an Amendment that was never designed for, nor expected to be used against America is this manner.

A friend helped with answering some Questions as how and what does it take to change this Amendment so it can not be used as a tool against the United State of America and it's Citizens, by people that had been able to get into Our Country Illegally.

A big “Thank You” to “Dusty” for the below information;

It can be changed by:

A) An amendment to the constitution requiring a 2/3 vote in both the House and the Senate. The president cannot veto a proposed amendment. He has absolutely no say in the matter. The proposed amendment goes to the state legislatures. It must pass a state legislature by a simple majority. When 3/4 of the states ratify it, then it becomes an official amendment.

B) A constitutional amendment can also be passed with absolutely no help at all from the federal government. Ratification is the state's domain alone...even if 100% of the house and congress agree an amendment should be passed the fact is they have no say. It only takes a 51% vote or simple majority in at least 36 states to ratify an amendment. That is 3/4 of the state legislatures. Also, an amendment can be proposed by the states by having the state legislatures of 36 or more states call for congress to hold a constitutional convention where states can propose amendments. Congress MUST oblige. The Constitution is very clear on this matter. So regardless of the current political climate in DC an amendment is not out of the question if 36 states agree to it.

He would like hearings held for clarification of the 14th Amendment, as this has become part of an explosive "birthright" issue.

Well last night at the “Stand With Arizona” candle light Memorial service held at the State Capital in down town Phoenix Az. to pay respect to the Police Officers and Civilians who have lost their lives due to illegal immigration and to support their loved ones. This was not a Rally event, but a Service to remember people we had lost of all nationalities, races, men and women, Police and civilian alike. There were unfortunately a small group of maybe 20 or so SB1070 protesters that showed up with their signs to protest the Memorial Service for fallen loved ones, but were kept away from the Memorial attenders and not allowed to bother them in any way by Capital Police and Private security

. Our first speaker of the evening was Rev. Wayne Perryman as black pastor who gave a wonderful prayer service and talk. Next up was a Chaplin from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Dept and like wise gave a wonderful uplifting talk. I was unfortunately was moving around at that point as I was there as a Volunteer and did not get his name. Other speakers followed and all were enjoyed by all those that attended.

After the last speaker had finished, the announcement was given to begin coming up to the stage and the lighting of Candles began and a silent walk thought the monuments of Wesley Bolin Plaza was lead by our own Arizona Senator Russell Pearce. As I followed towards the back of the long line, I turned and saw that the small group of protesters had also been given Candles and had lit them although they would not join in the silent walk. I wonder to myself what they might be thinking, as they witnessed this showing of comradery and respect for lives lost by people of all races and all walks of life, by Legislators to Bikers, Police to civilians. I wondered if they for a brief moment understood why we stand so united to protect our Country from unchecked illegal immigration. And if they to maybe for a brief moment wished to also become part of that wonderful bother hood we call Americans, and to put down their signs and work with America instead of protesting against it.

Before I close this short article I would like to thank all that attended and all those that worked so many self less hours of organizing this and putting on a respectful, dignified event. And a special “thank you” to Jennifer who made it possible for me to be a small part of it.

When Barack Obama and Eric Holder made the decision to challenge Arizona's SB1070 they did not consider the law of unintended consequences. While Judge Susan Bolton did temporarily block some some elements of Arizona's Immigration Bill she let stand ARS 1051(A) that removes the power of state officials, agencies and political sub-divisions that seek to limit enforcement of Federal Immigration Law. She also let stand ARS 1051 (C)-(F) forcing state officials to work with federal agencies on any aliens unlawfully residing or passing through the state.

Sanctuary cities create policies that instruct city employees not to notify the federal government of the presence of illegal aliens living in or passing through their communities. Most Sanctuary cities also instruct city employees to ignore immigration status (Legal v. Illegal) when they apply for city services.

In the same way that Federal law supersedes State law, State law supersedes a city or county policy/law.

Thirty two states now have one or more Sanctuary Cities and prior to Judge Bolton's ruling in Arizona there was little state officials could do about it without a contentious State v. City battle.

Judge Bolton has provided a legal precedent that can be used by other states to reel in renegade city and county officials that pander to illegal immigrants (of all nationalities) expecting Quid Pro Quo in the form of political donations and votes from minority groups seeking to become the majority, unions looking to grow membership dues, greedy business owners who want the cheap labor and churches wanting to fill pews and increase tithes and offerings.

I am sure there were lots of high fives in certain quarters when pundits declared that Judge Bolton had temporally blocked key elements of Arizona's tough new immigration laws but the elements she did approve are tools for state lawmakers across the country to end the Sanctuary movement.

It now appears as if Obama will try to handle Illegal Immigration himself, totally bypassing Congress if they do not do what He wants. It seems he does not care about what the American people want or what this will cost them.

Here is the proof that thousands of illegals were smuggled into Arizona during the past......................

"When host Alex Jones of the "Alex Jones Show" asked Babeu whether he agreed that the president was committing treason, Babeu responded, "It borderlines that. I'm not gonna outright call it that. I'm still an officer in the Army."
Babeu is a major in the Army National Guard.

When host Alex Jones asked Babeu a second time about the treason charge, Babeu did not dispute it.

This is the first Latino Group that is challenging the federal lawsuit, and is supporting Arizona's SB 1070...

All these countries' citizens are crossing into the United States of their own will, so how are their Civil Rights being violated?

Today I witnessed one of the sickest things I have ever seen a parent do to a child. After coming home I turned on the TV only to see Illegal immigration supporters and parents that are Illegally in the United States now using their own young children for their "cause". Needless to say I was stunned to see children some looked to be as young as 5 or 6 years old being made to carry signs of protest against America, at first this was shocking enough. But then my brain began to over come the shock of what my eye's were seeing and I started to think of the 110 degree temperatures that I had just come in from. I live in north Phoenix and these people were downtown at the State Capital building there I'm sure the temperature was even hotter. How could a person do this to a child, but then I thought about how here in Arizona we hear all to often how Illegals drag their own children to death in the desert while involving the children in their own crime of sneaking into America illegally. But to see people using young children in this manner on TV right here in America was sicking. It made me realize how important it is now more than ever that these people be captured and removed from America and never allowed to return.

The illegal supporters that organized this is a group known as Puente Arizona, they are a group that teaches their people that it is wrong for any Country to have a right to sovereignty. This was expressed by one lady Diana Perez who is one of the organizers for this disgusting use (or some might call abuse) of children. In her fuzzy comment about butterflies, she spoke of how “butteries migrate through several counties without borders” adding “That's how it is. That's how it should be”

Well Diana Perez, neither the illegals or you are butterflies, and this Country does have a border and it has Laws. And it is time you got use to it and taught these children about right from wrong and obeying the Laws, if they ever want to have a happy life no matter what Country they live in. As for the author of this article well he will be checking with the State of Arizona to see if you broke any laws as to causing harm to a child.
